Creating Access
ITIP works with partners in government, education, mental health, police, corporate, and non-profit to create access to thought leaders, processes, programs, technology, and expertise to support comprehensive trauma-informed strategies, that help to better prevent all forms of violence and mitigate the psychological and systemic effects of trauma. Including the creation of purpose-built on-demand/online learning content and resources for easier access.
Delivering Research
Research on innovative programs and approaches to trauma in human systems and violence prevention. ITIP has worked to help others understand that violence is a community and human systems challenge not just an individualistic issue. ITIPs ongoing assistance to orgs about targeted violence and traumatic aftermath has been researching innovative trainings, technologies, and programs to assist communities and organizations to more effectively prevent, intervene, and respond to crises, violence, and conflict through a trauma informed lens.
Technical Assistance
ITIP utilizes its expertise to assist organizations and communities to identify and deploy solutions to support interagency collaboration and cross-sectional partnerships, along with assisting in conducting policy review, establishing protocols, creating data-use agreements for enhanced collaboration and organizational capacity building.
